Rules
btcbid.lol is a public top 21 leaderboard denominated in satoshis. No ads, no algorithm, no revenue share. You pay in bitcoin to stand above everyone else. Rank is the bid.
The board
- Only 21 listings are visible at any time
- Listings never expire. Your position is yours until someone bids more sats than you.
- When the board is full, a new bid must beat #21. The listing sitting there is pushed off and stops showing.
- A pushed-off listing keeps its bid. Raise it above the current slot 21 and it returns instantly.
Ranking
- Bids run from 2,100 sats up to 2,100,000,000,000,000 sats and are always whole satoshis.
- Highest bid sits at #1. Ties break in favour of the earlier bid, so being early is worth one sat.
- Bids are cumulative for a listing: topping up adds to your total rather than replacing it.
- The ordering logic is exactly one line — sort by sats, descending. Nothing else moves you.
Payments
- Lightning invoices settle in seconds.
- Onchain payments take effect as soon as the transaction has one confirmation.
- Underpaid invoices are not applied. Overpayments simply round your bid up to whatever you sent.
- All bids are final. There are no refunds, because there are no chargebacks in bitcoin.
- Sats only. No cards, no fiat, no accounts, no KYC — pay the invoice and you are on.
Listings
- One listing per project. Duplicate submissions get merged into the highest bid.
- Titles are capped at 80 characters. No unicode abuse, no fake rank badges, no impersonation.
- Links must resolve to a real page. NSFW, scams, and illegal content are removed without refund.
- Outbound links are nofollow. Buy attention here, not search rankings.
Fair play
- Impression counts are raw pageviews of the board, not clicks. They are informational only.
- If we discover bots activity, we have the right to disqualify the entry
- You can outbid yourself. It is silly, but the sats are just as real.
